Dora: Hi, I'm Dora. Boots and I are playing hide and seek. You wanna play? Great! Let's go look for Boots. Now where could that monkey be hiding?

[She starts searching for Boots]

Dora: You see him? Where? Behind the tree? I don't see him. Where is he? Up there? Boots!

Boots: Dora!

(Both giggling)

Dora: Thanks for helping me find Boots.

Boots: Let's play again, let's play again!

Dora: OK, but this time --

Baby Blue Bird: Peep, peep, peep! Peep, peep, peep!

Dora: Did you hear that?

[Boots shrugs and shakes his head no]

Baby Blue Bird: Peep, peep, peep!

Dora: What could it be?

Boots: I don't know.

Dora: Come on, let's follow the sound and find out.

Baby Blue Bird: Peep, peep, peep! Peep, peep, peep!

Dora: Where do you think that sound is coming from?

Baby Blue Bird: Peep, peep, peep.

Dora: There?

[They open a bush to reveal Baby Blue Bird]

Dora: Oh, look! It's a baby blue bird!

Baby Blue Bird: Peep, peep, peep.

[Boots reaches out to touch her]

Dora: Careful, Boots! You've got to be gentle.

Bird: Peep, peep, peep.

Boots: She's wet.

[Dora approaches and touches the bird]

Dora: Maybe she fell in a puddle.

Bird: Achoo, achoo!

Dora: Aww, poor baby. She's cold. (picks her up) Maybe I've got something in my backpack to dry off the baby bird.

Boots: Yeah, yeah!

Dora: I need your help to open my backpack. Could you say, "Backpack"?

Boots: Say "Backpack", say "Backpack"!

Dora and Boots: Louder!

[Backpack, Backpack plays]

Backpack: Backpack, Backpack. Backpack, Backpack. I'm the backpack loaded up with things that knickknacks too, Anything that you might need I've got inside for you. Backpack, Backpack. Backpack, Backpack. Yeah!

Backpack: Dora needs something to dry off the baby bird. Do you see anything we could use to dry off the baby bird? Can we use this? Can we use this? Can we use this?

(Cursor clicks the towel)

Backpack: You're right! The towel! The towel can dry off the Baby Blue Bird! Good thinking! Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum! Delicoso!

[The towel falls out of the sky for Dora and Boots to catch]

Dora and Boots: Yeah!

[Dora wraps the towel around the bird]

Dora: Thank you for helping.

[They dry her off]

Baby Blue Bird: Mama, Mama.

Dora: Poor little baby. She wants her mommy. I bet she fell out of her nest.

Boots: Oh!

Dora: Now she's lost!

Baby Blue Bird: Mama, Mama.

Boots: Dora, can we help her find her mommy? Can we, can we?

Dora: You bet we can.

Boots: Don't worry, baby bird. We'll help you find your mommy.

Dora: Where do you live, baby bird?

Baby Blue Bird: ¿Qué?

Dora: Oh! The Baby Blue Bird speaks Spanish! ¿Dónde vives?

Baby Blue Bird: (sniffs) Árbol.

Dora: Tree! Árbol! She must live in a tree!

Boots: A tree, a tree! She lives in a tree!

[They imagine what the tree is like]

Baby Blue Bird: Pequeño.

Dora: The tree is little.

Baby Blue Bird: Azul, azul, azul.

Dora: The tree is blue. The tree is little and blue!

Dora and Boots: The Little Blue Tree!

Boots: Yeah, yeah! But Dora, how do we get to the Little Blue Tree?

Dora: Let's stop and think. Who can we ask for help when we don't know which way to go?

Boots: The Map! The Map!

Dora: The Map, that's right. The Map can tell us how to get to the Little Blue Tree. I need your help. Could you check the Map and tell me what it says? You have to say "Map".

Boots: Say "Map", say "Map"!

Dora and Boots: Louder!

[Map pops up then zooms into the air]

Dora: We're not gonna let him take our bananas!

Boots: No way!

Dora: If you see the fox, yell "Swiper!". You see Swiper?

Baby Blue Bird: Peep!

Dora: She's still crying. How can we cheer her up?

Boots: I know!

[Boots starts doing a silly dance as monkey noises are heard]

Dora: (laughs) That's funny!

[Scarecrow and Baby Blue Bird shake hands]

Scarecrow: So, you're going through the cornfield, huh?

Dora: That's right. The corn looks tall.

Scarecrow: Don't worry. Look for the path with the blue stones, and you won't get lost.

Baby Blue Bird: Azul! Azul!

Dora: Right, follow the blue stones.

Scarecrow: Oh! Don't take the path with the red stones, because it has the Mean Red Ants.
