Trivia[]
- This is the only half-hour episode (outside the double-length episodes) where the regular opening sequence is replaced by a unique opening sequence made for the episode.
- This is the last episode to premiere in 2013.
- This is the first time that the Snow Princess and Snow Fairy appear within a half-hour episode.
- Jessica the Ice Witch is voiced by singer and actress Hilary Duff from Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire.
- This is the second time a voice actor from an iconic movie by Disney voices a character, the first was John Leguizamo (who did the voice of Silly Mail Bird, Pirate Pig and the Flying Monkeys in The Super Silly Fiesta, Dora's Pirate Adventure and Dora's Big Birthday Adventure, respectively), who voiced Sid in Ice Age and later Bruno Madrigal in Encanto.
- Swiper, Isa, Benny and Tico all don't appear in this episode.
- However, Jessica the Ice Witch takes his (Swiper's) place as the antagonist.
- Once again, however, just like with the Witch from Dora Saves the Prince, the Dancing Elf from Dora's Dance to the Rescue, the Garbage Octopus from Dora Saves the Mermaids, the Greedy King from Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom, Owl from the Enchanted Forest trilogy, and Malambruno from Dora's Royal Rescue, the Ice Witch reforms herself and is forgiven by Dora, Boots, Sabrina, the Snow Fairy and everyone in the snowy forest for her actions.
- However, Jessica the Ice Witch takes his (Swiper's) place as the antagonist.
- The Fiesta Trio doesn't sing with Map in this episode. Instead, Map just says "I'm the Map!" once, just like in Super Spies and Dora's Easter Adventure.
- The Ice Witch's real name revealed to be Jessica near the end of the episode when she reintroduced herself.
- This is the 167th episode of the show.
- The Travel Song's role is taken by the new song about winning the skating contest ("Do Our Best!").
- The Blue Cursor doesn't click on Dora at the end of We Did It!.
- In fact, it’s also not seen in this episode at all.
- Dora and Boots can be seen in a commercial with guest star Johnny Weir teaching Dora some ice skating moves at a real life arena skating rink.
- On February 11, 2024, when this show was pulled from the Nick Jr. Channel's lineup after its fourth run, this was the last episode to be broadcast.
