She has a question for you: "Do YOU like books?"

Well, Dora does, too! "We LOVE books!" she says.
Boots agrees. "Yeah, books are cool!"

"We LOVE books!"
"Dora, can we hear a SNOWY story?" asked Boots.
"Oh, yeah!" said Isa.
"Yeah, good idea! I LOVE stories about princesses!" said Benny.
"Do you have a story about a snow princess?"
"Good idea, Benny!" said Isa.
"And a fairy snowflake, too?!"
"¡¿Y piratas?!" adds Tico
"Yeah, PIRATES!" Boots and Benny said.
Boots thinks of another character idea. "And a mean witch?!"
"That would be SO cool!"
Benny agrees.
Boots asks Dora if she has a story with ALL OF THAT.
"I hope, I hope, I HOPE…!"
"Hmmm...
let's see…"
Do you see a story with a witch, a snow princess, and fairy snowflake?
Where?!

There it is!
Here's the story: The Snowy Forest.
Dora begins to read.
"Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Sabrina, who LOVED snow."
Sabrina is playing with her snowglobe.
"Wow, she looks like YOU, Dora!" said Boots.
"Yeah, she sure does!" Isa said.
"Almost a twin," adds Benny.
"¡Cómo tú!" said Tico.
"Almost a twin," adds Benny.
"¡Cómo tú!" said Tico.
(narrating:) "Sabrina lived in
a lonely dry forest, where it never snowed.
One day she was walking and heard an animal crying."
"Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo!" cried an animal.
"Chirp, Chirp."
What's that over there?
(narrating:) "It was a white dove!
Sabrina ran to him and said…"
"What's wrong?"
"The witch caught me in this trap,
and no one will free me,
because they're all afraid of her!"
That's sad.
"I'LL set you free!" said Sabrina.
"You will?!" said the dove.
"Sure!"
He's free!
"You are VERY kind,
AND brave! "And you helped me when no one else would! You must be the one! Follow me,
I have a surprise
for you!"
Let's go see what it is...
"It's behind the bush with the purple berries!"
Do you see the bush with purple berries?
Yeah, there it is!
Hey, there's something sticking out of the ground!
What is it?
"It's a magic crystal! Pull it out!"
Sabrina is trying to pull the crystal out, but it looks like she can use some help.
"I need help!"
She asks the viewer, "Will YOU help me pull out the magic crystal?"
Will you help Sabrina?
You WILL? Here's what to do: "Put your hands out of front you like this, hold the magic crystal…"
"…and pull, pull,
PULL!"
She pulled it out! (Hey! That crystal seems to belong to someone in Wizzle World... We may have to wait until the last chapter of the trilogy to find out who!)
"We got it!" Sabrina cheers.
"Look into it and smile!" suggested the bird.
She sees her reflection in it.
(narrating:) "Sabrina
smiled into the magic crystal.
And that's when something REALLY AMAZING happened!"
It's snowing!
(Sabrina gasps)
(narrating:) "Snow fell ALL over the forest!"
"The little white bird
spread its wings,
flew up into the air,
and turned into...
Guess what the bird turned into!
"…A SNOW FAIRY!"
"¡Un hada!" says Tico.
But that's not everything…
Hey, what's the Snow Fairy doing?
Sabrina's clothes change.
"WHOA!" she said.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!"
The now-called Snow Fairy explains what happened. "This forest was under the Witch's spell,
which could ONLY be broken
by someone kind and
brave enough to be the
the Snow Princess."
"That's YOU!"
Sabrina couldn't believe it. "ME?! I'M the Snow Princess?!"
"YES!" Snow Fairy replied.
"And all the snow animals are now
free!" (here they come!)
Look how happy they are! "YAY, SNOW PRINCESS!!!" they all cheered.
Dora keeps reading. "Sabrina was now the Snow Princess,
and she made friends
with the snowy animals
in the forest!"
"She was VERY
happy!" (She SHOULD be!)
She's so happy, she twirls around.
"I never knew a smile
could change
EVERYTHING!" said Sabrina.
She starts singing.
Look it's a world of snow,
Look it's a world of snow,
no matter where I go!
of snow and ice,
new friends have appeared!
A snow kitty's
come to play,
"Hi!" said the cat.
And singing
icicles
surround me!
Here in our magic Snowy Forest!

"WOW!" everyone said.

Snowmen play hide and seek,
"¡ENCUENTRAME!" ("FIND ME!") said a snowman.
"Snow bunny,
DON'T you PEEK!"
"Aww!"
And there's a snowy sailboat
waiting!

let's go
for a ride!
And though they're made of snow,
Everyone here is warm and friendly, here in our magic
Snowy Forest!

In the foreeeeee

"What OTHER
snowy friends can we meet?" asked Sabrina.
"Who's that
skating
in the lake?"
"¡Sí! A penguin!

"Hi!" said the penguin.
Sabrina then asks:
"And who's this snowy friend behind that tree?"
What is it?
"That's right! A polar bear! ¡Un oso blanco!"
"¡Con mucho gusto!" said the polar bear.
"¿Y quien
viene allí?" ("And who's coming there?")
Do you know what it is?
"¡Sí, una mariposa!
A butterfly!"
"¡Adios!" said the butterfly.

And every time I smile
I see my snowy friends smile back at me! Here in our magic snowy…

early morning

Princess walked

the forest,
and saw something
in the sky."

(That must be a witch!)
"A WITCH!" Boots cried.
(narrating:) "The witch didn't like
the Snowy Forest!
And she
REALLY didn't like
how happy the Princess and all her friends were!"
"So she
SWOOPED in,
and
took
the
crystal!"
The princess is shocked!
"Then she waved her wand and said..."
"ZAP!"
(narrating:) "A tall
tower
appeared,
and the Snow Princess was locked inside!"
"Now I'll make sure it NEVER snows again!" said the Witch.
(narrating:) "The witch looked into the crystal
and made
a MEAN face!
The crystal
clouded up,
and the magic Snowy Forest
started to melt!"
"I don't LIKE snow!" said the Witch.
(cackles loudly)
(That witch really DOES hate snow. She's always grumpy!)

(narrating:) The mean witch flew away
with the crystal,
and left the Princess locked in the tower!"
"In the OTHER part
of the forest…
everyone looked
around for
the Snow Princess."
"SNOW
PRINCESS!" the snowman with the yellow hat called.
"¿DONDE ESTAS?" said a snow bunny.
"WHERE ARE YOU?!" added a penguin.
"SNOW PRINCESS!!!" called the same snow bunny.
"¡¿PRINCESA?!" one bear shouted.
"¡¿DONDE ESTAS?!" asked the other bear.
"They asked the Snow Fairy
to search for her."
"But the Snow Fairy was running out of time!"
The forest is melting!
Snow Princess?!
"Snow Princess!" said the Snow Fairy, assuming Dora is the Snow Princess when she's actually not.
Dora is confused.
"There you are!"
"I think he's talking to you, Dora!" Boots said to her.
Snow Fairy told who she thinks is the snow princess and tells her she has to come home with him. But otherwise, Dora is not like the next snow princess yet.
"I'm sorry, Snow Fairy,
but I'm NOT the princess."
"You're NOT?"
"No, she's Dora!" said the others as they introduce the Snow Fairy to her.
"But I really need to find the Snow Princess!"
"If I don't, the snowy forest will disappear! But I don't know where she is!"
"She's in the tower!"
"The mean witch put her there!"
"Oh, no! Oh, no!
I've got to rescue her!"
"But have I do it alone?"

We’ll cross the ocean, (Piggies rolling a barrel)

The Witch is back!
"Soon all the snow will be melted,
and the Snowy Forest will be gone…

"We've GOTTA get down there FAST!"

"We need something that can slide us down."
"Maybe you have something in your Backpack."
"Great idea, Boots.”
Dora asks, "I need YOUR help,
will you check my Backpack for something we can use to slide down the mountain?"

"¡La princesa!"
"Snow Fairy! I KNEW you'd come!"
He told her he’s with two friends!
The drawbridge is up!

"The Snow Fairy needs help to fly to the switch."
Boots has an idea: "Maybe we can help him

"ALMOST THERE!" said Snow Fairy.
"GOT it! Thanks for helping me flap!"
He tries to pull the switch.
Down it goes!

Now they can go across the drawbridge.
They cross it right away.
"Great job, Snow Fairy!" cheered Dora.
"YAY!" Boots added.
In they go!
"WE'RE COMING!" called the Snow Fairy.
They made it!
And look who's here!
"Snow Princess!"
"Oh,
I
missed you!" she says as she hugs the Snow Fairy.
"These are my friends, Dora and Boots!" Snow Fairy explains. "We're here to rescue you,
so you can smile into the crystal
and save the forest!"
"But I CAN'T, Snow Fairy!" said the Snow Princess.
"YES, you can!" Snow Fairy replied. "You're the Snow Princess!"
Snow Princess says, "The Witch cast a spell on me! I CAN'T smile!"
"But you've got to, YOU'VE GOT TO!"
"If you don't, everything in the forest will disappear!"
"OH! What can we do?
WHAT CAN WE DO?!"
Hmmm…
"Wow! She looks like
Dora decides to switch clothes, then she can pretend to be the princess and she could smile into it and make it snow!
Boots is confident it will work! He hugs Dora again.
"Uh-oh,
here comes the witch!"
"We don't have time to switch clothes!" said the Snow Princess. (Unless…)
"I can help!" said the Snow Fairy.
Now Dora looks just like the Snow Princess!

"We'll be behind the door listening."
"Good luck!"
Boots gives Dora a good luck hug.
After the hug,
Boots and the Snow Princess leave and watch her (Dora) from outside.
and she sits down.
Here comes the witch!
She’s now in the tower.
She puts her broomstick down.
"So, snow princesa,
your snowy forest is almost ALL GONE!" said the Witch.
"And this time…
It’ll NEVER come back!
'Cause I got the crystal!"
"And YOU can't smile!"
But Dora is surely going to prove her wrong. "Oh, YES I can!" she said.

"YOU'RE not the Snow Princess!" she adds.
"No, my name is Dora!"

She smiles into the crystal
(Icy wind howling)
"It's SNOWING!" said Dora.
"DORA,
YOU DID IT!"
"I KNEW you could!"
Too bad for her…
…her wand is no longer working!
"YOU BROKE MY SPELL!!!" cried the Witch.
"I've GOT to

See? Look! Her wand is frozen…
…and it broke into pieces!
