Trivia[]

  • Guests Kelly Ripa and her son, Michael Consuelos, reprise their role as Mommy Maned Wolf and two of her wolf pups after their previous appearance in Diego's Wolf Pup Rescue.
  • All the animals that appear in this episode had recently appeared after their debuts in Season 1, Baby Humpback in Diego and Baby Humpback to the Rescue, and Linda in Diego Saves Christmas, the maned wolves appeared after their debut in late season one in Diego's Wolf Pup Rescue, and Sammy's smaller appearance in Baby Jagaur to the Rescue. Sammy would get his major episode next in Sammy's Valentine.
  • This is the first episode where the animal end song is not featured, as the new song, "Rescuing Together", replaces it.
    • Speaking of which, the line, "Hey! Hey!" may be a reference to the main show's theme song, which it follows the line, "You can lead the way!"
  • This episode is similar to Baby Jaguar to the Rescue.
  • This is the only episode where the rescue ship's engine is shown on the deck even though in its debut eight episodes ago, the deck was never shown from where Diego and Alicia stood when not driving.
  • This is the first episode since Macky the Macaroni Penguin where Diego used Rescue Pack as he didn't in the previous two.
  • This is the only episode where Diego is seen in his light blue shirt, but not his vest.
  • This is the second Go, Diego, Go! episode to have multiple rescues, with the first being Baby Jaguar to the Rescue.
    • Just like in Baby Jaguar to the Rescue, both the Al Rescate song and the Una Adventura song are sung within the same episode.
    • The only animals that did not need to be rescued were the Humpback Whales who had helped Diego and Baby Jaguar get to the Rescue Boat and save Alicia.
    • Speaking of which, the background music for when the whales came out of the water and then when Diego and Baby Jaguar jumped onto Baby Humpback's Back was reused and the scene was reanimated from Diego Saves Baby Humpback Whale just instead of a rocky island with a beached whale its an icy ocean and a brother saving a sister with the help of whales.
  • The Bobo Brothers do not appear in this episode. However, they did appear during the Click segment.
  • This is the first episode where Alicia uses her Rescue Rope in airing order. If one goes by production order, it would be Diego and Alicia Save the Otters.
  • The Let's Review looks different in this episode; it has the usual four questions, but the viewer has to choose between four animals (a sloth, a llama, a maned wolf, and a humpback whale) to answer which animal does what.
  • This, along with Diego's International Rescue League and Fiercest Animals are the three episodes to learn about more than one animal.
    • In this case, there are four animals to learn about, which are a humpback whale, a llama, a three-toed sloth, and a maned wolf.
  • This is the second episode where Al Rescate and Una Adventura are sung in the same episode. The first was Baby Jaguar to the Rescue.
  • After Rescue Pack's song, he doesn't shout, "Yo!", he instead shouts, "Quick!".
  • Although it premiered in 2007 on Nickelodeon and 2008 on Noggin and DVD, it was made in 2006 according to the end credits.
